Other Bodies by Joel Ohman- Book Review

Due to the controversial subject of this book, it was not, by any means, a "feel good" story. However, I was looking forward to reading about the current issues at hand regarding abortion. It seems that in this world we are living in, abortions are becoming a normal, every day acceptable thing. In the book, we not only see teen pregnancy, but we also see the after affects of abortions. It truly is heartbreaking to read at some points, given the story line and issues that are being discussed. However, I really feel that it is an important topic, and in today's world, we need to educate ourselves and really dig deep into pressing issues, such as teen pregnancy and abortion.

If you are looking for a light-hearted, encouraging read, this book is probably not for you. I did however, think this book is well written and is very informative. I am a little on the fence on if I really "enjoyed" reading this book, but I think it is definitely something worth reading.
