TEXT Bible- Review and Giveaway!!

 By: Melissa Baker

When I was a teenager, I joined a youth group with my friend. It was there that I got saved and started my journey of faith. However, when I first started reading my Bible, I had no clue where to start, and half the time I didn't understand the content or context. When I was new to my faith, I really didn't know how to study the Bible efficiently because the Bible that I had, wasn't very user friendly for a teen (King James Version). After a few months of going to church, I gifted a teen devotional Bible... which was nice because it had mini devotionals, and topics related to teenagers and new believers. But the actual text in the Bible was still the same, unrelatable text. And I really didn't get the full 'Bible study' experience that I probably should have.
I have recently had the privilege to read The TEXT Bible, and I honestly wish I had this resource when I was new in my faith. Using the TEXT method helps to break down scripture, so it's better understood by the reader, and helps you apply it to your everyday life. This Bible is loaded with mini devotionals, prayer prompts, explanations of who we are reading about, and so many more tools and tips. The TEXT Bible is definitely a resource you would want to have if you are a teen/young adult or are new to reading the Bible. I would highly recommend this to anyone who struggles in understanding scripture or feels like they need an extra boost in their Bible reading and studying.
