When Jesus Was a Green-Eyed Brunette: GIVEAWAY!!

By: Melissa Baker

When Jesus was a Green-Eyed Brunette is a great book. I wasn't too sure if I would enjoy reading this book to be honest- the title kind of threw me off a bit. But as I began to read and was really able to dive in, I was pleasantly surprised. This book reminds us how to love people like God does. The author includes stories in the book that really hit home and are very relatable. There are many refreshing Biblical truths in these stories. Some will make you giggle, and some might even bring a few tears. If you read this book, it will leave you humbly inspired and you will not be disappointed. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to get back to the basics...Jesus!

About the Book:
When Jesus Was a Green-Eyed Brunette weaves heartwarming and miraculous stories of Jesus showing up in ordinary people, revealing that He knows us and is fully present in our everyday circumstances, especially in our difficulties. Those hurting and weary from worn-out religion are longing for a fresh touch from the living Jesus. Best-selling author Max Davis challenges us to do more than simply receive God’s grace—we need to allow grace to soften, change, and shape us. As you read this book you will laugh, cry, and come face-to-face with the living Jesus, much like Davis did, when he found Him living in a green-eyed brunette. As Davis puts it, “Jesus is very much alive today and still does incredible things—sometimes supernatural things—through us!”
    208 pgs.

  1. I try to show love, as Jesus did, although I fail miserably most of the time. But, I do have a "giving" heart. I love to give to other people. Even when our budget is tight, I try to find ways to show love by giving (time, money, support, encouragement or meeting other needs)
